Onscreen step-by-step instructions enhance usability and accuracy, while the ergonomic design ensures easy handling. In fact, fully serviceable and repairable, the YSI 9800 has a long lifespan. Additionally, the battery life extends up to 5,000 tests per set, reducing replacements and enhancing cost-efficiency.

The photometer offers over 30 pre-programmed tests and allows custom tests. It supports multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, and Mandarin. Furthermore, user-selectable options for test units, sample numbers, and dilution factors add versatility. The YSI 9800 stores all test results, data IDs, and user information for data compliance and traceability. Moreover, simple data management via USB connectivity also powers the instrument.  With a memory capacity of 1,000 data sets, the YSI 9800 ensures ample data storage.
