VersaFilter™ Open-Platform System

VersaFilter™ Open-Platform System: ultrafiltration/microfiltration (UF/MF) is advanced low-pressure membrane filtration technology. It is designed for reliable production of high quality potable and process water. Membranes act as an absolute barrier with a small nominal pore size (0.01-0.1 µm) for size-exclusion based removal of microbial and viral pathogens, suspended solids, turbidity, particulate metals, and coagulated organic matter.

Contaminants build up on the membrane surface during production mode and are periodically removed by backwashing. UF is an efficient, space-saving technology with typical system recovery of >95%. Open-Platform Concept: The VersaFilter™ UF system is designed for compatibility with more than 10 UF/MF module types from leading manufacturers.

These flexible non-proprietary systems are often less expensive than proprietary, non-open-platform designs. System flexibility protects owner interests through avoiding major retrofits if module performance is sub-standard, equipment supplier support is inadequate, or replacement of the original modules is too expensive or unsupported.
