How it Works
The TRU-FLO Compact Regulator uses an integrated float housed in a watertight enclosure to control the position of the pivoting radial gate. As the upstream water level rises, the float moves within the enclosure, adjusting the gate’s position to maintain a constant flow. Obviously, During low flow periods, the radial valve remains fully open. When a blockage occurs, the self-flushing mechanism kicks in, opening the gate fully to clear debris before resuming normal operation.
Each TRU-FLO regulator is pre-calibrated at a full-scale test bench and shipped ready to install. The system’s setpoints are clearly marked for easy future adjustments, eliminating the need for costly on-site calibration.
