IQ SensorNet FDO® Dissolved Oxygen Probe

The FDO is a luminescence-based, optical DO sensor for the IQ SensorNet system, ideal for continuous DO monitoring to optimize aeration systems and lower energy costs.

The FDO is a luminescence-based, optical DO sensor for the IQ SensorNet process monitoring system. IQ SensorNet FDO® Dissolved Oxygen Probe is a reliable and proven long-term solution for continuous DO monitoring. In fact, it can help optimize your aeration system and lower energy costs. Additionally, the replaceable sensor cap ensures a longer life and simple maintenance.

Features and Options

The FDO comes with a standard sensor cap (SC-FDO 700) for typical applications and a fast response cap (SC-FDO 701) for highly dynamic environments. Obviously, it is a good choice for the process control of activated sludge aeration. Also, FDO Sensor is providing optimal conditions for nitrification and minimizing energy usage.

  • No Calibration Required: No electrodes, electrolyte, or calibration needed.
  • Enhanced Accuracy: The 45-degree angle sensor cap eliminates overestimates of DO due to bubbles.
  • Versatile Applications: Suitable for seawater, freshwater, and Class 1, Division 2 applications.
  • Intelligent Sensor Cap: Factory calibration data is automatically uploaded.
  • Durable and Reliable: Extremely long sensor cap life with a 2-year warranty on the probe and SC-FDO 700 sensor cap (6-month warranty on SC-FDO 701 sensor cap).

Integration and Compatibility of IQ SensorNet FDO® Dissolved Oxygen Probe

The sensor is part of the IQ SensorNet family of products and works directly with our advanced wastewater process monitoring and control platform, the IQ SensorNet 2020 3G controller, or our simplified IQ SensorNet 282/284 controller.
