IQ SensorNet CarboVis® Sensor
The CarboVis® is a rugged, reagentless, optical-based spectrophotometer for the IQ SensorNet system, measuring up to 5 key water quality parameters. Its built-in UltraClean ultrasonic cleaning technology minimizes maintenance, ensuring reliable, continuous data for process optimization.
The IQ SensorNet CarboVis® Sensor is a reagentless, optical-based spectrophotometer integrated into a durable, corrosion-resistant field probe designed for the IQ SensorNet system. This advanced probe can simultaneously measure up to 5 parameters, including COD (total and soluble), BOD, UVT-254, TOC, DOC, SAC (total and soluble), and optionally TSS. The CarboVis scans 256 wavelengths per measurement between 200 and 720 nm, ensuring accurate readings with precise compensation for interferences such as turbidity. By providing continuous data, the CarboVis aids in making informed operational improvement decisions.
One of the key features of the CarboVis is its built-in UltraClean ultrasonic cleaning technology, which significantly reduces routine maintenance requirements and prevents biofouling. The probe also includes built-in air holes for additional air cleaning in high fouling applications, further minimizing upkeep.
The CarboVis is factory calibrated and comes with a 2-year warranty. It is available in two options: one optimized for effluent applications and another ideal for influent/aeration/effluent applications. The sensor is a part of the IQ SensorNet family of products and works seamlessly with the advanced wastewater process monitoring system controlled by either the IQ SensorNet 2020 3G controller or the simplified IQ SensorNet 282/284 controller.
