Trickling Filter Rotary Distributors

BioDoc™ uses a specifically designed motor and gear reducer arrangement to provide the rotational speed of the rotary distributor. This optimizes the dosing rate and flushing intensity, of the rotary distributor to improve performance of the trickling filter. Control of the rotational speed of the BioDoc™ is provided by a control panel containing a VFD and a Programmable Relay to control the operating speed times and the media flushing speed times. HydroDoc® is the most advanced speed control and trickling filter process management system available. The rotational speed control is due to the hydraulic forces of the water alone to optimize the dosing rate and flushing intensity to improve performance of the trickling filter. The HydroDoc™ uses a simple feedback-loop controller to manage the dosing and flushing rates of the distributor. RDS1™ is the traditional rotary distributor that uses the hydraulic forces of the process water to rotate the unit.
