Actuators

Five kinds of actuators are potentially available, but depend on the application. Manual Actuators (handwheel or crank) are used where operatoring loads are relatively low, where operation is infrequent, or where power is unavailable. Interconnected Actuators are for gates with large width relative to their height. Portable Operators electric or gasoline powered portable operators can be provided to drive crank-type actuators Electric Actuator used for higher load, higher operatiring speeds, or when gates are operated with relative frequency Hydraulic Cylinder Actuators provide smooth and fast operation for automatic control systemsm or provide automatic gate positioning upon electric failure
